Terms of Service

Welcome to pcatai ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and the operator of the App governing your use of the App. Please read them carefully, especially the clauses that exclude or limit liability.
The App is operated by Mt. Hamill Elevator and Lumber, Inc.
By registering an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
The App is an AI-based character conversation and content-creation product. You can chat with AI characters, create and share characters and storylines, and use other features within the App.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to register and use the App. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
- You must register with a valid email address and are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your account and login credentials secure. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to do so.
3. User Content and Conduct
You are responsible for all content you create, upload, or send through the App (including chat content, characters and storylines, and images). You agree not to create, upload, or distribute content that:
- violates applicable laws or regulations;
- involves child sexual abuse material, or promotes violence, terrorism, hatred, or discrimination;
- infringes the intellectual property, privacy, reputation, or other lawful rights of others; or
- contains malware or spam, or is used for fraud, harassment, or similar activities.
We provide a reporting mechanism. After receiving a report, our team reviews the content in question and may remove violating content, restrict access, or suspend or ban the account. We do not pre-screen all user content, and you remain responsible for the content you create.
4. AI-Generated Content
- Responses in the App are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and are fictional. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or factually wrong, and do not represent our views or positions.
- AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice of any kind (including but not limited to medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice). You should not rely on it as the sole basis for any decision.
- You are responsible for exercising your own judgment regarding, and for any consequences arising from your reliance on, AI-generated content.
5. Virtual Items and Payments
- The App may offer virtual currency, memberships, or other paid services. Payments are processed through the applicable app store's payment channel.
- Except as required by applicable law or app store rules, virtual items are non-refundable once purchased.
- Virtual items may only be used within the App and cannot be exchanged for legal currency or transferred.
6. Intellectual Property
- The App and its related software, interfaces, trademarks, and logos are the intellectual property of us or the respective rights holders.
- You retain ownership of the content you create in the App. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content as necessary to operate, display, and improve the App.
7. Account Deletion and Termination
- You may delete your account yourself within the App at any time. Once deleted, your account and associated data are removed and cannot be recovered.
- If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access to the App.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The App is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties regarding the continuity, timeliness, security, or fitness of the service.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you within the App in an appropriate manner. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
